Jenkins County Diabetes Coalition is a group made up of local members from Jenkins County that are dedicated to teaching about diabetes prevention and promoting a healthy lifestyle to the residents of this prestigious neighborhood.

OUR MISSION

The Jenkins County Diabetes Coalition seeks to increase community service & outreach activities in an effort to reduce disparities in diabetes morbidity & mortality among African Americans in Jenkins Co., GA through partnerships with local faith-based organizations, non-profit organizations, service-based organizations, businesses, government agencies and community members.

To reduce diabetes disparities in Jenkins County, Georgia though the development of a viable and active community based coalition.
